Representation and Political Ideology

To what extent do the elements of media language used in Sources A and B convey different values, attitudes and beliefs about the world?
In your answer you must:
Analyse the ways in which media language has been used in combination with sources A    and B to convey values, attitudes and beliefs about the world
Refer to relevant contexts and academic ideas and arguments in your analysis
Draw judgements and conclusions in relation to the question

The Daily Mail's headline of "The 'Swarm' on our Streets",  presents the refugees as unwanted to the British Public. Because the Daily Mail has a Right-wing ideology they are attacking the Refugees and making them seem as though they are invading the country. Whereas the Guardian takes a left wing, political view and presents the migrants as a crisis and as victims of war.  The use of 'swarm' makes them look like insects and shows that the Daily Mail view them as nothing but worthless people invading the country.  The Daily Mail also presents the police force as racist by quoting them calling the refugees as insects. The Guardian's use of 'crisis' portrays there view as a horrible event whereas the daily mail makes them in the wrong, not Europe.

The media language that The Daily Mail use are specific to their views on the political state of the UK and the political ideology behind their readers, which is a right wing view and mainly conservative viewers. Whereas The Guardian give a left-wing view to their readers which the readers would mainly be Labour supporters. The view of the Daily Mail on this particular piece is more of a UKIP view with the immigrants being not welcome into our country.
